Truly Live, Not Just Exist?
You’ve experienced abuse.
Actually this thought comes from inside…because everyone have their own perspective towards life and own ways to cherish it
Whether physical, psychological, emotional, financial, or even spiritual, the abuse may have developed a great deal of strength in you.
In psychotherapy, the work you do is to move beyond survival into a whole-self life.
That is, to truly live rather than just exist.
Generally, my recovery process with broken individuals involves 3 steps.
One, healing your inner wounds.
Two, growing up healthier.
And three, integration.
With these 3 foundational steps, you can break the cycle or pattern of abuse you suffered in your life.
Result is finding lasting recovery and freedom.
It’s a final phase where you feel empowered enough to make room for greater love, respect, and personal responsibility.
So to reach that point, as the familiar saying goes, “The journey of a thousand miles begins with the first step.”
If you want to truly live life, to really experience it, to enjoy it to the fullest, instead of barely scraping by and only living a life of existence, then you need to find ways to break free from the mold and drink from life.
