May I ask you this question over and over again? “What do you want?”
Chances are you’re more like me and have no clue what you want to do. It’s a struggle almost every adult goes through. “What do I want to do with my life?
Think. Reflect. Meditate. Feel.
One simple, innocent question.
Yet the most evocative and inadequately fulfilled aspect of our being.
It’s a question that also rocks a lot of emotion. Stirring pain that’s already within.
The first step to living a more fulfilling life is to think about the things that you’re passionate about.
It’s essential to know What Do You Want? what you’re passionate about so you can identify the very thing that drives you and makes you happy.
Some answers I hear in sessions.
“I am so lonely, I want my partner back.”
“I want to be given attention and loved.”
“I want to say I love you to my kids and how sorry I am that I was far away when they’re growing up.”
“I want to be young again and not get sick.”
“I want to fulfill my dream of getting rich.”
“I want the childhood I never had.”
“I want to be important.”
Much just beneath the membrane of life comes out of responding to that question.
