Do you know that you can rise from the dead?
As I write this, it’s Easter Sunday.
THE LORD IS RISEN!
When Life Beats You Down, Remember Who You Are. No matter your pain or circumstances.
THE DEATH OF DEATH THROUGH CHRIST’s RESURRECTION
Jesus said to her, “I am the resurrection and the life. The one who believes in me will live, even though they die; and whoever lives by believing in me will never die. Do you believe this?”
— John 11:25-26
Death is dead!
Because Christ has risen!
Final enemy of man is crushed forever.
“That I may know Him, and the power of His resurrection.” (Philippians 3:10)
THERE’s MORE TO LIFE THAN THIS LIFE ON EARTH.
FROM EARTHLY TO ETERNAL
Draw a line in the sand.
“On the first day of the week, very early in the morning, the women took the spices they had prepared and went to the tomb. They found the stone rolled away from the tomb, but when they entered, they did not find the body of the Lord Jesus. While they were wondering about this, suddenly two men in clothes that gleamed like lightning stood beside them. In their fright the women bowed down with their faces to the ground, but the men said to them, “Why do you look for the living among the dead? He is not here; he has risen! Remember how he told you, while he was still with you in Galilee: ‘The Son of Man must be delivered over to the hands of sinners, be crucified and on the third day be raised again.’ ” (Luke 24:1-7)
Today, on earth, we suffer from the effects of sin.
Both from within and without.
But soon the physical bodies of all believers will be resurrected too.
Our resurrected Savior is in heaven.
He prepares a place for all of His own.
Earthly death can only destroy our physical bodies.
But we are already seated in the heavenly places with Christ (Colossians 3).
Christ will soon return in glory, so we will “also appear with Him in glory” (Col. 3:4).
HOW CAN YOU KILL A BELIEVER WHO HAS RESURRECTED, ETERNAL LIFE IN CHRIST? YOU CAN’T!
WHEN LIFE BEATS YOU DOWN, NO MATTER YOUR PAIN OR CIRCUMSTANCES, REMEMBER WHO YOU ARE!
GOD HAS ALREADY GIVEN YOU YOUR IDENTITY AND SECURITY THROUGH HIS RESURRECTION AND SALVATION.
NOTHING TO WORRY ABOUT.
THE LORD IS RISEN!
And, you are His!
“I have called you by name, you are mine,” the Lord is telling you.
Here’s how to be saved, belong to the risen Lord, and go to heaven:
“… that if you confess with your mouth JESUS as Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved; for with the heart a person believes resulting in righteousness, and with the mouth he confesses, resulting in salvation.” — Romans 10:9-10
Yes, know that you can rise from the dead!
