You Are A Whole Person

You are a whole person.

Every human being is composed of four essential parts: mental, emotional, physical, and spiritual.

No one is whole or complete without all of them.

This therapeutic insight is most commonly neglected by secular medical doctors, psychologists, counselors, and educators today.

It’s tragic. In our culture, media, and educational systems, we’re overwhelmingly secularized and humanized.

In atheistic humanism, we’re being brainwashed.

It makes us believe that we’re just animals without a spiritual dimension of life or being.

An existential psychiatrist, Dr. Irvin Yalom, is a known secular atheistic psychotherapist.

He explains existence only in the forms of body, mind, and emotions.

He does not believe in God or a life with God after earthly existence.

Noted psychologist and founder of analytical psychology, Dr. Carl Jung, expressed an opposing view.

As he put it, “We are all wired for God; we all need God.”

you are a whole person

Every human heart has a God-shaped void.

That includes all atheists, such as Yalom, whether or not they’re conscious or accepting of that truth.

Evidences that we’re intensely incomplete human beings without the spiritual are bountiful.

That’s graphically demonstrated soon after the disbanding of the Soviet Union or during the onset of the global Covid pandemic.

Millions flocked to churches and into faith in Christ.

Even after living under atheistic communism for 70 years. Or, years of living one’s life without God before the pandemic.

Philippine President Rodrigo Duterte once discredited God because of Covid. “If He exists, why doesn’t He intervene and save us from this  pestilence?”

After questioning and negating God, Duterte asked the Filipino people to pray harder for the Philippines and the world.

You are a whole person. You are spiritual, which distinguishes you from the animal kingdom.

Even publicly atheistic Dr. Yalom affirms that, calling it “Divine Essence.”
