BON VOYAGE, FINNEGAN 24!
Have a safe, blessed trip.
Ang bilis ng mga araw.
The years swiftly passing by,
Like grains of sand.
In this fleeting dance of time,
I pen this little note for you, Fin,
As you continue through your trip.
Youth is a wonderful stage.
24 ka na and along with your new wife Nicole,
Hope sets you forward,
With your dreams taking flight.
Your Mama and I wish you the best.
Palaging nanalangin para sa inyo.
Remember, like morning mist,
Youth is fleeting.
Before you know it, it soon fades.
And slips through your fingers.
Leaving memories in its sway.
So make the most and best of it.
But how? You may smilingly ask.
Seek God and His wisdom to see
Lessons to learn and mistakes to avoid.
Embrace the truth, do not wait.
Know what is good and what is evil.
In everything, let His guidance reveal.
For only in Him, true joy, blessing, and purpose appear.
The world entices you with false appearances and values.
It offers temporal things that glitter
To deceive you away from what’s true and eternal.
But in Him, you’ll find lasting happiness that never fades.
Let His light within you shine brightly.
In all your aspirations and ambitions,
Let His love be your guide.
Even as the seasons change.
Whether in a career or any paths
And roads still unknown to you.
In God’s arms, find your strength and never depart.
For He holds the key to real love, life, and eternity.
Kaya hayan na, Finnegan!
Ganyan mo malalaman ang tunay na paglipad sa eroplano ng buhay na hindi babagsak!
Embrace the short trip.
Strive to let your life be a testament, a fragrant flower.
For in the end, it’s not wealth or possessions or fame that will define you.
For you leave all these behind.
But the faith, hope, and love you lived yourself
As well as the lives you blessed.
So dear Fin, hear this plea.
Embrace the fleetingness.
Let your heart and soul be free.
Strive to let the coming years God will gift you
Mould a legacy that spans beyond this passing earth.
Till the rapture!
Or, He takes us to our true home forever with Him.
Bon voyage Fin!
“Remember your Creator in the days of your youth, before the days of trouble come and the years approach when you will say, ‘I find no pleasure in them.’ Now all has been heard; here is the conclusion of the matter: Fear God and keep his commandments, for this is the whole duty of man.”
